Forkful #30: Personalized Chef’s Coat

Sure, you can give the home cook on your list a “Kiss the Cook” apron, but if you really want to wow them, go for an actual chef’s coat. Happy Chef Uniforms has an embarrassment of styles available: short sleeve, long sleeve, tons of colors, and a bunch of different overall styles. On top of that, you can get it embroidered with the kitchen guru’s name, and turn their kitchen into their own restaurant (at least in their head!).

The other great benefit of a chef’s coat over an apron is that is covers your sleeves, so you don’t need to worry about splattering yourself or getting flour all over your black shirt (or, like I did this Thanksgiving, spill flour on your mom’s black sleeve… oops!).
