Yeah, I know, you already own a corkscrew. But how often have you encountered, er, technical difficulties when using it? Because nothing makes that red wine taste better than cork crumbles… My friend, Miami pastry chef Michelle Arthur Cabrera, recommends the Cork Pops Wine Bottle Opener. It pierces the cork with a narrow needle, and a push of the button fills the bottle with enough inert gas to pop the cork right out. No twisting or yanking required. Michelle says “One of the easiest bottle openers ever, and you never damage the cork. They have an older model as well, but this particular one has a foil cutter on it and everything. Great buy for the price.” This would make a nice little hostess gift, especially for just about 20 bucks.
